Glennwood Elementary Garden Committee

Wylde Center Partnership

We are excited to announce a new partnership with the local environmental education nonprofit, The Wylde Center! Each month, students will participate in hands-on garden classes led by Wylde Center educators, following a curriculum designed to reinforce environmental science, gardening, nutrition, and social-emotional learning. Lesson topics will range from composting and plant parts to pollination and nature journaling. Additionally, the Wylde Center will provide professional development programming for our wonderful educators through monthly webinars, resources for gardens, and an in-person annual training.

We would like to thank the PTA for sponsoring this fantastic program! If you would like to support programming like this, please consider donating to or volunteering with the Glennwood PTA.

To learn more about the Wylde Center, visit their website or explore one of their many community gardens and educational sites around the city.
