Meet the 2024-2025 Glennwood PTA Board and Committees

On behalf of the Glennwood PTA, welcome! We are planning on a great school year for the entire Glennwood community, a year full of fun new possibilities and the continuation of our favorite traditions.

The 2024-2025 Glennwood PTA Board looks forward to working with our  Principal, Dr. Holly Brookins, as well as the teachers, students and you, the parents, in new, creative ways.

What We Do

The PTA's mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering students, families, and communities in education. We work year-round to build a strong community and raise funds to support our school, educators, and students.

Our main fundraising sources are the Fall Festival, Read-A-Thon, Casino Night Auction, and corporate and family sponsorships. Through these efforts and relationships, we help fund many offerings and programs such as teacher grants, field studies, facility improvements, and classroom needs. Additionally, throughout the year we host events to help our community connect with and get to know one another.

Who We Are 

The PTA comprises parents and staff affiliated with Glennwood Elementary School, working together to build community through school events, committees, and initiatives. Our Board is made up of Glennwood parents, along with our Principal, Dr. Holly Brookins. The Board meets once a month to discuss upcoming events, goals, needs, and concerns raised in our community. Meetings are open to the community, and we invite you to join us to share your ideas. Please reach out to a PTA Board member for more information.
